My Crazy Weekend!

I just had the most crazy, exhilarating, and exhausting-in-the-best-possible-way weekend and am so excited to share it with you! It involved a long day trip to the happiest place on Earth (debatable I must say…), an AMAZING styled shoot that I put together with my photography partner, and launching my new website!

Let’s start with Saturday.

Saturday began early in the morning with a 5:30 wakeup call. It’s only about an hour before I normally get up, but let me tell ya, it makes a big difference! I stumbled out of bed and managed to get dresses for a day at Disneyland and California Adventures with Kyle, his little brother and his girlfriend, and some of Kyle’s tennis friends from Santa Barbara. We got in for free since Kyle’s aunt used to work there and made up for the money we saved by stuffing our faces with slushies, churros, dole whips, and other of the delicious junk food they have every three feet at the park. It was glorious.

We ended up staying from 8 in the morning to 7 at night, and by the time we got back in the car to drive home, we were all exhausted. We stopped by In n Out for a burger and chocolate shake fix, then I passed out in bed.

Now let’s talk about Sunday!

My entire day Sunday was devoted to the styled shoot that my friend Jessica and I have bene planning for the last month. A styled shoot is essentially a pimped-out photography session in which different artists (photographers, makeup artists, hair stylist, models, etc) come together and pool our talents to make something beautiful. By the time 5:30 rolled around, we were ready to start shooting! It was an amazing day and I am SO HAPPY with how my photos turned out!

Andy that leads right in to my next big announcement! My photography website is finally up and running! I’ve been working on it for the last month and have spent countless hours ironing out all the details.

Two words: in love.

I wanted to wait till after my styled shoot to launch so I could have some extra pretty bridal portfolio images to add to my gallery and am so glad I did! I love it so so so much and am thrilled to finally have everything setup!

I hope your weekend/week have been running smoothly! I’m finishing a cup of coffee and then am heading to the gym for some cardio (boo) and weightlifting before tackling my emails and freelance work!

    Oh my goodness your photos ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It looks as though this is coming from a real life fairytale… the way you capture the girls in the light is mesmerizing. You have a real gift, and I would love to one day have a photoshoot with you <3!

    I LOVE your new website! It’s beautiful and it seems to perfectly match your personal style and photography style :)

    And that day at Disneyland…jealous! When I used to live in Orlando, we got seasons passes to Disneyworld and it was a blast! Super exhausting, but lots of good memories there, too :)
