It’s Saturday! So I made you some chicken wings and legs!

It’s what friends do.

And not just any chicken recipe… This one is packed with zesty orange flavor and has that perfect salty-sweet punch that makes me want to send each and every one of you non-vegetarian a wing . Feeding people is one of my favorite ways of showing how much I love them (❤️) and, even though I’m hesitant to give any of these away when I have a plate in front of me, I can’t NOT share this recipe with you guys.

It easily takes the cake (wing?) as one of my favorite recipes of the summer, and that is saying a lot because I…uh… make it a priority to eat as much good food as possible.

I grew up eating my mom’s chicken wings. I’m not going to pretend that I’m a chicken wing connoisseur because her recipe simply involved smothering the wings with garlic salt + baking, but I did develop my appreciation at a young age. This recipe, though bursting with tons more flavor, is almost just as simple and comes together in less than 30 minutes!

The orange BBQ glaze for this recipe is actually insane. Like, I want to fill up a bathtub and marinate myself in it. And that’s a really weird statement to make, I’m trying to make a point and pound it into your head how delicious these are. It’s so simple to make and only involves whisking together orange juice, honey, a little melted butter, pre-made BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s is my favorite), and a little garlic salt. Then, you put your chicken wings and legs on your Uchi Cook Steam Grill and brush them lovingly with your glaze and, as the chicken cooks, the BBQ orange sauce caramelizes (that word makes me drool) into a beautifully sticky mess and your day is officially made.

I was sent an Uchi Steam Grill to review and am officially in love. I’ve steered away from grilling in the past because the hulking metal grill at my parent’s house has always intimidated me (yeah, I don’t know why either) and once I moved to college, I lived a few sad years without one. The Uchi Steam Grill goes right on top of your kitchen stovetop and is the perfect size to cook on!

It simultaneously grills and steams food so it comes out ultra juicy and cooks in a flash. Seriously!! It cooks food in 1/3 the normal time and saves me so much cleanup time since I don’t need to clean the grill after I’m done.

I am in foodie awe.

This recipe even got the stamp of approval from my mom, who is usually my biggest critique when it come to my food ventures. Success! I remember a time where we once spent 20 minutes arguing over the thickness of which I cut my homemade white chocolate macadamia nut biscottis. I’m not even sure how we spent so long bickering over the width of biscotti, but it was pretty heated.

Don’t tell her this, but she was actually right. 😯 . I was a half inch too thick. But then again, is a bigger cookie ever a problem? I think not.

The deep moral of this story is to make this recipe, then feed all your family and friends. GO!
