Here are a few of my favorite things related to blogging, health, and my everyday life!

How to Increase Your Blog’s Pinterest Traffic

Just a few simple steps can bring you in thousands of page views a day! Click the link above to go to the post where I explain my Pinterest process!

Bluehost:

I first started Apple of My Eye as a small blog on WordPress. Eventually, though, I realized that I’m committed to blogging and wanted to take my site to the next level. Being self-hosted means that I have so much more freedom in terms of my site layout, plugins (there are endless amounts of free ones!), and monetizing my blog. After doing some careful research, I chose to use Bluehost to self-host my site because it’s relatively affordable, so easy to use, and has GREAT customer service!

Tasty Food Photography:

This eBook basically taught me everything I know about food photography. After reading it and putting what I learned in terms of lighting, composition, etc into use, I almost immediately started getting accepted on to sites like Foodgawker and Tastespotting, which have quadrupled the traffic I get to my site!

Camelbak:

To say I love this water bottle would be an understatement. I’m pretty bad at keeping hydrated, but I find myself refilling my camelbak at least four times a day! It’s sturdy, easy to drink from, and comes in a variety of colors (mine is pink and has my college name on it!).
