Marvelous In My Monday: Eat ALL the Food!

Happy Monday all! I hope you have today off to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, but if you don’t, I hope today is going smoothly for you.

Here’s a few marvels from my Sunday. Mostly food, because food is always marvelous!

Kyle and I went to browse through our local Farmer’s Market this morning and had a great time in the sunshine. The weather here is unreal right now and I’m really enjoying being able to wear sundresses and sandals! Farmers Market Collage

While we were there, I grabbed some apple chips from a local vendor to snack on as we walked around. I feel like these would be so simple to make. Just slice some apples super thin, sprinkle with cinnamon, and pop em’ in the oven on a low heat for a few hours! I’ll try them out within the next few days and report back :).

Kyle and I went to one of our favorite Thai restaurants after some shopping at TJ Maxx to grab some lunch. Since he had a late breakfast and the portions are huge, we split a beef pad thai. Delicious!

Later that day, Kyle and I took his little brother and my younger cousin (they’re bffls) along with a few other boys to get some Korean BBQ!

Then, to round the day of eats off, we split a huge bowl of frozen yogurt.

To say I’m stuffed would be an understatement!

This is going to be short MIMM since I need to sleep off this food coma, but I’m also looking forward to some birthday festivities for Kyle tomorrow. His actual birthday is on the 24th, but we’re home for the long weekend and his family want to celebrate!

Have a fantastic Monday!

    Food really is marvelous. 😀

All of your eats look so delicious. My mouth may have watered a bit..
I’ve tried the homemade apple chips. They are so good. You can customize them with different spices to your taste. So versatile!

I would love to try Korean BBQ sometime, and you can never go wrong with some frozen yogurt!

I hope you have a fantastic week! :)

What an awesome day of eats. This food coma was totally worth it. And I miss Korean bbq so much from back in the days when I studied in Shanghai. The tenderness of the meat… even thinking of it makes me drool. Also Thai food, I mean: seriously?, it is all over the blog world and though there is a restaurant 10 minutes away from my place I haven’t managed to go the last 2 weeks.

I’ve thought about making my own apple chips before, but I heard that you have to bake them for something like 2 hours, so I feel like I’d end up paying more for my energy bill than I would for storebought apple chips. Also… I’m super jealous of your weather! But I guess I should be thankful that it’s hovering around freezing here and not -25 like we’re used to in January.

Sooo where is a picture of Kyle’s brother and your cousin? lol 😉 You are absolutely gorgeous and I am so jealous of your weather right now! We’re supposed to get a cold front this whole week.. boo :( happy Monday!!

So jealous you can wear sundresses right now! I’ve heard that Korean BBQ is amazing, so I really want to try it, especially since I was recently introduced into the awesome world of Korean food. Looks like you had a great weekend!

I have NEVER experienced real fro-yo…the only place near me that does it mixes one type of fruit into the yogurt and thats it! No toppings, no nothing. Yours looks divine…and makes me hungry. :) Have an awesome Monday!

All of your food looks SO good. A couple of friends and I decided that we wanted to go to a Korean BBQ once upon a time…that was an interesting experience. The people working there spoke very little English, and we weren’t sure if we were supposed to cook the meat ourselves, so we started putting the meat on the grill and the workers started freaking out, hah. It was delicious, though!

I want to be where you are. The weather look gorgeous and a trip to an outdoor farmer’s market would be dreamy! Love it.

My BF and I keep saying we’re going to go to a Thai place for date night but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. The food looks wonderful so we’re going to have to GO now!

    Have fun celebrating love. :)

Your froyo looks so much healthier than mine! Mine tends to lack in… well… fruit. But sometimes I split the cup in half and do fruit on one half, candy goodness on the other. Also I’m so jealous of your fabulous weather! We are preparing for a snow storm today… ugh.

So jealous of your farmers’ market fun! It is so cold here, and we are about to have round 2 of the polar vortex. You are the cutest, and I LOVE the blue dress. Living vicariously through you (my OOTD includes snow boots)!

Oh my goodness … oh my goodness … oh my goodness … I want to eat this post. I want to download it and eat it. I’m serious about that. Everything looks so yummy!

Looks like a delicious weekend! I’ve actually never tried Pad Thai. I need to get around to it sometime soon.

And it’s crazy how warm it’s been in California this winter! I have a feeling the hills won’t be turning green this year…

I am so jealous of the nice weather you’re having! We’re getting snow, but thankfully not as much as what they were calling for.
