Marvelous In My Monday

Happy (err… Can Monday even be described like that?) Monday! 

My college starts back up today, which means more late nights in labs and endless amounts of studying. However, it also means that I’m reunited with some of my best friends and get to enjoy a few weeks of an easier course load before my midterms are here.DSC_1650Guess there’s a silver lining in everything- including Mondays!

Which brings us to today’s post: another rendition of Marvelous in My Monday!

 Marvelous is date night! 

IMG_1469Kyle and I spent Friday night at a fancy restaurant by the pier called The Lobster. While neither of ordered lobster, we both really enjoyed our meal and getting to spend some quality time together. It’s always nice to dress up a bit and enjoy a romantic getaway, even if it’s just for a dinner date!

Marvelous is good food.

Marvelous is cute new cooking accessories! 

Kyle’s mom got me an adorable cookie stamp as part of her Christmas gift to me. Along with that, Kyle got me the cutest set of measuring spoons from a small store in a town nearby to where we went skiing. Useful and the perfect prop to my food photography!

      Thanks so much! I LOVE it! It’s from the Just Bitten series by Revlon, I can’t remember the exact color (forgot it back at my parent’s home :( ), but it’s one of the redder ones. The color stays on forever and you don’t even notice it’s on.

      UGH I’m so jealous!! I’m on the quarter system, so we get out a bit earlier and get back to work earlier as well. I can’t believe you still have 3 whole weeks though! CRAZY!!

    Aww I just love how Kyle supports your blogging! I just think it’s so important and meaningful when your significant other supports something that you are passionate about :-)

    I think its so nice how you and Kyle make time to go on nice dates together. That restaurant sounds very nice, and the company even better! Tyler and I try to make it out to a nice dinner on occasion but usually end up cooking at home or stopping for something quick. Getting dressed up can be so fun! The measuring spoon is so pretty, I wouldn’t want to use it.
