Lululemon Haul & 4th Of July Fun

Hey guys! I’m back from my mini vacation and I had a great time! Prepare yourself for a photo dump!

Lucky girl!

Kyle and I drove up to Santa Barbara for a 4th of July party with some friends and had a great time catching up and celebrating! There was a good amount of traffic, but we made it up just fine.

Being the party animals that we are, Kyle and I were in bed and fast asleep by 10:30. What can we say, we’re old people at heart ;). The next morning we got up and ready casually and headed down to eat a continental breakfast. I kept it simple and had some oatmeal, coffee, and fruit. How good does that oatmeal look? I love me some raisins!

IMG_2681 IMG_2682After breakfast, we headed down to State Street so I could use a Lululemon gift card that I had gotten. Let me tell you, I used that card and more. Let’s just say my wallet won’t be thanking me ;). It was too hard to resist all their glorious workout clothes and I felt like a kid in a candy store! Luckily for me, I have the best man in the world who patiently waited an entire hour for me and helped me make the hardest decision of my life: what color top to get. I reallllllyy wanted a top in orange, but they didn’t have my size with the No Limits tank. I ended up going with a striped blue one after a long debate with Kyle. I also ended up getting a pair of Inspire Crops that are ridiculously comfortable. I honestly feel like I’m not wearing anything and they don’t slide or ride up even when I squat or lunge. They’re also thick enough so I can wear granny underwear without it showing through the material ;). WINNING!

We wanted to beat the traffic, so we grabbed a quick lunch at a Hawaiian restaurant.

We made it back in great time and I’m looking forwarded to catching up on what you lovely ladies have been up to and trying my hand at creating a healthy(er) cookie to enjoy!

why he loves me

I swear he likes me.

xoxo Christine

Okay, I totally must ask you how you designed and got your new blog up and running. I’m looking to maybe give my blog a bit of a face-lift :) and any tips, pointers, suggestions, etc. would be super appreciated and super awesome 😀

    Ewwww I hate raisins. :/

OBSESSED WITH YOUR LULU SWAG, THOUGH. I’ve wanted a pair of crops from Lulu for forever and a day but they’re always super expensive. :(

Sounds like you had a fantastic vacation. :) Your sweet potato fries are making me really hungry…

You don’t like raisins? I guess we can’t be friends anymore :(. Just kidding, but we should probably go to blogger-couple counseling to work this out ;).

And about the crops, TRUST ME. They’re so worth it. They’re the bets pair of pants I’ve ever had before and I wouldn’t even blink before getting another pair once I wear these down! So high in quality it’s ridiculous!

You’re ROCKING MY FAVORITE LULULEMON TOP!! I have it in EVERY SINGLE COLOR – seriously, I am a freak! My friends are starting to get mad at me because I ALWAYS WEAR the NO LIMIT tank…. Even when I go out to dinner or bars! Ah ha ha ha ah! It’s just so comfy and it covers EVERYTHING – especially if you have a little food baby! 😉

Sounds like you had a goof 4th of July!! I was totally in bed by 10:30 pm too, ah ha ha! 😉

I’M SO JEALOUS! I want it in every color toooo! I basically live in workout clothes, so I just need to win the lottery and buy the entire chain ;). Sounds like a masterful plan, right? Hahaha do you really? They’re so cute that I bet most people wouldn’t even notice they’re athletic wear! And I agree, they’re loose but oh so flattering at the same time. I’m obsessed!

We have a Lululemon here in Boulder but the few times I’ve gone in I just didn’t think the price tag was worth it. I’d pay top dollar for that Hawaiian lunch though :)
