I’m Back!

Hey guys! Sorry to have been gone for the week. I had a TON of finals and they were all pretty killer and, as much as I missed it, I didn’t have any time to blog. It feels so good to be back though!

I honestly haven’t been up to much, just studying like a maniac, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and not getting nearly enough sleep. But, I’m free now!!! Expect a new post everyday ;).

Another thing I’ve missed is exercise. My workouts go down the poop-hole when I get stressed out, and I’m looking forward to having the summer to concentrate on my health! I was able to get one run in, though, which was an AWESOME way to help me to relax. I felt a million times better after it, even if it was short!

short and sweet!

I guess it goes along with my Type A personality, but I LOVE making lists. SO here is my list of thing I’d like to accomplish this summer:

Summer GoalsI know the Norwegian one seems a bit random, but I want to get back to my roots. I’m a weird mix of half Norwegian and half Japanese and was born in Norway. Norwegian was my first language, but I’ve forgotten most of it which is a huge bummer to me since I love languages. I still can understand a good amount of it though, but it’s time to get started on refreshing it before I forget even more.

As for the new craft goal, I’m open to suggestions! I think metal pressing would be really cool. I’m in love with the site Etsy and have always been drawn to their handmade and custom jewelry.

That’s it for now! Can’t wait to take some time to catch up with all y’all!

I’m glad you’re back!! Finals are the worst and its good that you were able to put blogging on the back burner. That’s something I have a hard time doing. It’s addicting!

Welcome back and congrats on finishing your exams :) ! That is super cool about the Norwegian – my boyfriend is half Icelandic and I’m so jealous that he gets to be bilingual! I love all the pretty jewellery on etsy too! Personally, I would like to try out pottery as I reckon it’s fun to do something with my hands…

YAY! Done with finals and now back to some sense of normalcy! My starbucks card got some HEAVY use during the past week too, but if it helps you study, why not?!? I always try to make time for exercise during finals week but like you, I find it hard to fit it in! Even if its just a 30 minute run I feel SO much better after :)

Congrats on being done with finals! That’s so cool that you’re half Norwegian–and that it was your first language! People always think it’s really cool that I was born in Canada…then they ask me if I spoke French growing up…and then they find out that I’m from an English-speaking part of it and it becomes significantly less cool. 😛

Haha I can vouch for you still being a pretty cool girl ;). Your blog is one of the ones that I enjoy reading the most!! And Canada is such an awesome place! How long did you live there for?

It’s been so long since I’ve had time to read, that I don’t know where to start! I’ll keep my eyes open and let you know- do the same for me too if you can, I’d love that!
