Today has been a good day!
After doing some work, I got ready to go out to dinner with my parents (who came up to visit). I was feeling fierce so I threw on some animal print ;).
We went out to a nice restaurant with a semi-French theme. The entire menu was very eclectic! We started off with a nice little appetizer which let us sample quite a few things. For my main course I got the Duck-Duo that featured a pan roasted breast, fresh sausage, sweet potato hash, and duck demi-glace. It was really good, but the portions were a little small for my liking! Kyle got scallops and thoroughly enjoyed his, though it wasn’t nearly enough food for a big guy like him.
My mom ended up buying us a two pound box of See’s candy… on top of the two one pound gift certificates she sent in the mail! After dinner we walked over to State Street to collect our goodies.
Hopefully it will last at least a week 😉
Moving on, of course we had to follow up on some fro-yo to help even out the small portions of dinner ;). This baby was a serious monster!
We got back home around 8:30, and let me tell you, I’m exhausted. That workout this morning sure did me in! I’m hoping to get some more work done before I call it a night though. I have a French essay and History midterm on Monday, so I gotta get crackin’!
Hope ya’ll have a great night

It was pretty fancy ;). Haha a few chocolates fell victim to me and Kyle last night as a matter of fact. They had no chance, poor souls… RIP. I wish! I’m at college right now so I don’t have access to my usual kitchen :/. I’ll be going back home this upcoming weekend and will be sure to cook up a storm!
